                      On Failure

     Everyone expects to succeed in whatever he does. Unfortunately, no
person can do everything successfully. Almost everyone experiences fai-
lure sometimes in his life. Some people, after a failure, may become 
discouraged and even give up their hope for success. Some other people
may not be seriously affected by failure。In spite of their failures they
continue to do their best in waht they do until they finally succeed.
    Some people may regard failure as a bad thing. In my opinion, however,
whether a failure is good or bad somewhat depends on how one copes with
the failure he has experienced, If you take a pessimistic attitude toward
your failure, it will be a head-on blow to you and even do you severe
harm. Worst of all, some persons may even commit suicide simply because
they don't know how to triumph over their failure. On the other hand, if
you take an opimistic attitude toward failure, it may benifit you trem-
endously. You can find the correct way to success on the basis of your
objective analyses of your failures.
    Since none of us can avoid failure in our lives, the intelligent app-
roach to failure, I think, is to learn to accept it. We can say that, 
without failure, there would be no success.

                   论失败
    无论做什么，每个人都希望成功。不幸的是，没有人能保证每件事都成功。
几乎所有人经历过人生当中的失败。一些人，在失败后会气馁，甚至放弃成功的
希望。另外一些人则不会被失败所影响，他们会不管他们的失败，尽最大努力去
实现他们的目标，直到成功。
    一些人认为失败是一件坏事情，然而依我看来，无论失败是好还是坏，最终
取决于经历失败的那个人怎样应付它。如果你以悲观的态度对待失败，它会给你
正面的打击甚至产生很大的伤害。最坏的是，一些人甚至去自杀，因为他们不知
道怎样去打败失败。另一方面，如果你以乐观的态度去对待失败，它会给你带来
巨大的好处，你可以通过你的失败的客观分析去纠正你通向成功的路。
    因为在我们的生活中没有人能避免失败， 最聪明的对待失败的处理， 我想，
失去学会接受它。我们可以这样说，失败是成功之母。
