北京研发中心

Position:     Software Development for USDS
# of Openings:        2

RESPONSIBILITIES

They will develop USDS (Unified Subscriber Data System) project. The work includes coding and verification. They will work with assigned engineers to understand the overall process first, then do the unit testing, finally they will do cross function testing and verification.

REQUIREMENTS
    Experience with software development and testing with C/C++ and object oriented design
    Good communication skill in English
    Be able to work for 6 consecutive months (full time)
    BS or above degree in computer science, electronic engineering or related field with project/work experience
    Knowledge on HLR (Home Location Register) is a plus
    Knowledge on the database design/test is a plus.

Position:     Software Tester (Intern)
# of Openings:         1

RESPONSIBILITIES
    Network Element Testing or Network Level Testing and integration for ActivePhoneBook or USDS
    Providing technical support to engineering service team
    Testing tool development

REQUIREMENTS
    Experience with software development and testing with C/C++ and object oriented design (Unix)
    Knowledge of wireless system (core network), next generation network, data network (SIP, XCAP, IMS, TCP/IP)
    Good communication skill in English
    Self-motivated, good problem-solving skill
    BS or above degree in computer science, electronic engineering or related field with project/work experience

Position:     Software Developer for Service Management Platform (Intern)
# of Openings:         4

RESPONSIBILITIES

They will develop service management platform. The work include coding and testing. All of them will do the code first, then do the unit testing, finally they will do cross function testing with each other.

REQUIREMENTS
    Experience with software development and testing with C/C++/Java and object oriented design (OOD/P)
    Experience with J2EE platform, web Portal & Portlet development
    Familiar with web page development, such as HTML, Javascript.
    Experience with Database, SQL language.
    Experience with SOAP, CORBA will be a plus.
    Master degree in computer science, electronic engineering or related field

Position:     Software Developer for Next Generation PC Client Software (Intern)
# of Openings:         5

RESPONSIBILITIES

Bell Labs Research is looking for interns who have strong C/C++ based software experience to work on a project for the next generation PC client software. Work includes design, coding and testing of the client software.

REQUIREMENTS

    Experience with C/C++ programming on Windows platform
    Knowledge with SIP/RTP
    Experience of windows media codec (1 intern)
    Experience of GUI design for multimedia communication client (1 intern)
    Able to work for at least 6 consecutive months (full time)

Position:     Software Developer for 3G/E3G Air Interface Simulation (Intern)
# of Openings:        1

RESPONSIBILITIES
    Simulation for VoIP over HSDPA/EDCH: 2 interns
    Link level simulation for LTE/AIE: 1 intern
    System level simulation for LTE/AIE: 1 intern

REQUIREMENTS
    Able to work for at least 6 consecutive months and at least 4 days(5 day preferred) per week.
    Experience with software development and testing with C/C++ and object oriented design (Unix)
    Knowledge of physical layer in WCDMA/CDMA2000 air interface. Good understanding of CDMA or OFDM.
    Experience in simulation of wireless networks.
    Good communication skill in English
    Self-motivated, good problem-solving skill
    BS or above degree in computer science, electronic engineering or related field with project/work experience

7. Broadband Wireless Access: 1 intern

Requirements:
(1)Familiar with IEEE802.16 series protocol for wireless MAN
(2)MATLAB/Openet programming for simulation
(3)Quick learning and ability of innovation
(4)Ability to writing research paper is optimized

8. Mapweb Project: 1 intern

Requirements:
(1)Be very familiar with WAP, including WAP UI design, WAP1.0/WAP2.0.
(2)Familiar with JSP, Java Script, HTML
(3)Knowledge of J2EE, MySQL is a plus.
