rch experience to MSN users in China and around the world. Our mission is to: 


•    Deliver innovative Search products and services together with MSN/L
 
ive search 
•    Accelerate innovations by seamlessly combining research and develop
 
ment in MSRA 
•    Evolve Search platform into an Internet Service platform for the ne
 
xt generation of Internet research and development 
The STC team consists of top researchers in related areas working hand in hand
 
 with engineers to enable a fast innovation model that bridges fundamental res
 
earch and product development. By combining both Microsoft’s research and dev
 
elopment talents, STC is creating one of the most versatile, challenging, and 
 
fascinating research and development environments in the IT industry. 
Roles & Responsibilities： 
The Search Technology Center of MSRA has multiple openings for talented and mo
 
tivated software developers of all levels to work on exciting and challenging 
 
projects in web search and services related technologies. The candidates will 
 
be collaborating closely with MSRA researchers and developers, responsible for
 
 the design, implementation, and quality release of features that will drastic
 
ally enhance the MSN Search family of products and platform. 
Main responsibilities: 
1.    Technology transfer of the latest MSRA core technologies 
2.    Tuning and improvement of search related algorithm 
3.    Development of facilitate tool 
Required Qualifications： 
We are looking for 
1.    BS/MS Student in Computer Science or any related technical field and at 
 
least 3 month’s professor approval for the internship (Longer period of inter
 
nship is a plus) 
2.    Profound experiences in software development, C/C++/C# 
3.    Excellent problem solving skills 
4.    Passion for innovation and exploring new techniques and solutions 
5.    Solid background in search technology, machine learning, information ret
 
rieval, data mining related area is a good plus
