• Experience in thermal and mechanical characterization.  
• Demonstrated results working effectively in a cross-functional team en

Research Scientists – Electroactive Polymers 
Qualifications/Requirements:

Coating Scientist / Engineer 

Qualifications/Requirements:
• PhD/MS in Chemistry or related sciences with strong experience in synt

hetic methodology. 
• Hands-on experiences in organic/inorganic synthesis, sol-gel processes

, silicone chemistry and coating applications are required. 
• Candidates must be fluent in English and Chinese and authorized for un

restricted work in China

Senior R&D Engineer – Power Electronics 

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or M.S. with min. 3 year

s experience or equivalent with strong theoretical background. 
• Knowledge of power electronic devices, circuits, controls and thermal 

design/analysis. Knowledge of power electronics applications in motor drives, 

uninterruptible power supplies, and power systems. Expertise in simulation too

ls such as Saber, PSpice, Matlab/Simulink. Multi-national company or overseas 

experience. 
• Desired: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Experience in ren

ewable energy systems.  

Laser Consolidation Scientist  

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Ph.D. or MS with several years experience in physics or engineering
• Strong background in lasers and materials processing, mechanical engin

eering, and control
• Knowledge on CAD/CAM
• Past experience on laser consolidation, laser cladding is a a strong p

lus
• Effective written and oral communication/ presentation skills, good in

terpersonal skills
• Self-starter, able to work alone or as a member of a team. Project man

agement experience will be a plus. 


 Senior R&D Engineer - Control System Development 

Qualifications/Requirements:
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechantronics, or MS with p

ractical laboratory experience. 
• Demonstrated proficiency in control systems, signal processing, system

 identification and optimization is required.
• Strong software skills - C, C++ expertise. 
• Strong simulation skills - MATLAB, EASY5, MATRIXx, or similar simulati

on package. 
• Experience with Unix platform coding is desired.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in

 global teams are essential. 

Senior R&D Engineer - Real-Time Controls 
Qualifications/Requirements:
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechantronics, or Computer 

Science, or MS with practical laboratory experience. 
• Demonstrated proficiency in the architecture, design, and implementati

on of real-time control systems as well as thorough understanding of underlyin

g theory is required. 
• Strong software skills - C, C++ expertise. Analog and digital circuit 

design skills. 
• Strong simulation skills desired. Experience on DSP, Verilog/VHDL logi

c programming/simulation, and real-time C code development is a real plus. 
• Experience with electric motors, power electronics, drives, servos, si

gnal processing and the controls. 
• Experience with serial communications links such as CANbus, DeviceNet,

 Profibus, real-time Ethernet.
• Experience with circuit design tools.
• Experience with RTOS (VxWorks, QNX, ucOS, LinuxRT) is a plus. 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in

 global teams are essential. 


Magnet Material Expert 

Qualifications:
• Ph.D in material or Physics science with minimum 2 years experience, E

xperience in magnet materials, magnet test and characterization. • 
• Must be willing to expand his / her capability to applications.
