Position Title: SP Display Film Optical Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Provide Technical leadership in the development of products
for LCD, OLED, Projection and Plasma Display Film and Sheet products
for the display industry.
• Provide technical leadership in the development of optical modeling
tools to enable predictive design
• Provide technical expertise in optical test and measurement develop
ment
• Provide program/project leadership with focus on Design for Six Sig
ma (DFSS) – Statistical Methodology.
• Responsibility will include working globally with other technologis
ts, product management, manufacturing and commercial teams to develop game cha
nging opportunities in support of Structured Products business plan.
Qualifications Required:
• PhD in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Optics.
• Background in computational design and analysis of complex optical
systems
• Demonstrated technical leadership through peer-reviewed publication
s and presentations
• Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and interac
tion skills.
• Proficient in basic statistics, design of experiments (DOE), advanc
ed predictive design
• Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in use of information technology
