大家不要太紧张，去年我就我听考过机考的人说过是怎么一回事。下面是我们的问答录：
(其实，大家找一找去年GRE报名时发的Bulletin来看看也能明白。)

        Here, the test center offer such kind of stuff to you. So, don't worry
 about it. I think the test center in China will do the same.

        Yes, absolutely.

Comprehension in verbal part and the questions in analitical part?
        During the comprehension part, the article is on the left side of
screen, and each time there is one question on the right side of the
screen. You can go back or forth on the article, but not the question.

        In the analitical part ,as the comprehension part, all the information
you need is on the top of the screen and each time there is one question
under it.
        But pay attention to the arrangment of the questions. It's not
like the paper-based test. For example, the first 7 questions of the
verbal part are " fill in the blanks....", then it's the analogy....or
whatever.... In the computer-based test, you never know what kind of
problem  the next one is. Also in the quantitative section.

> . Do you think it very bothering to take Computer Based GRE test? >
        It depends! To me, I have the problem on reading articales from
 screen. If you are a computer major, I don't think you have
this problem. But on the analytical section, when you have to look down to
draw some graphs on your scretch  paper and rise your head to look at screen
again and agin,  it really drives you mad. When I took the test, I felt
very tired on this section.

        During the test, I felt terrible, since I FELT I did not do as good
as I had done on the practical test when I was home  . But when I read the
score, it was  just like the score I got at home. So, when you take the
test, I guess  maybe you will  feel the same way, don't bother, just keep
going on. Ok?
        Genarally, it's not boring. To some extent, I like it. Think
about this: you needn't wait nearly a month to get your score. You can
know it right after you finish the test. Is it exciting?

        It depends. I guarantee you can finish the quantitative part less
than 20 minutes. For the analytical section, I think I need more time.
cus I answered the last five questions by guess. (I clicked five A's,
lucky me, I think at least 3 of them were A's. Since I got 730 on that
section.) I felt that the questions in this section were a little weird.
Calm down, I don't wanna make you nervous. I felt the questions were a
little easier but more tricky. So my stretegy was trying the answers one
by one, and I think that 's why I need more time. In the verbal section,
I skipped  the long article, so i had 20 seconds left when I finished it.
I think if you have read all the articles in the past GRE test, then you
will do fine.
For the whole test, I just kept moving on, I mean I moved to the next
question as soon as I finished this one, even I knew I couldn't go back,
I am not suggesting you should do the same, but if you check your answers
again and again, then you wouldn't have much time for the questions left.
Then maybe you will become more and more nervous. I,personally, don't
think it's good, do you?

        No, there are only five to six words in one line, so you need at
least two or more screens.

        I am not sure, but I think it's adaptive.

        Paper-based.  "when I read the score", I mean I read the score
when I took the real test. Not at home.

> Can you remember the structure of each section? Say, how many articles in

        I remember there were three articles in verbal section, two shorter
ones
and a longer one. Are you familiar with all the articles in  reading
comprehension part in the past tests. I mean "zhen1 ti2". Since when I
read the longer article,  I felt I had read this kind of article before.
But I couldn't remember it very well. At that time, I hated myself to
death. So, before you take the test, you'd better read all the
articles very well, so that when you meet the same kind of articles,
you can save time and also do a good job. I know Yu minhong had
written a book on this part, I think at least you should read the
Chinese version of all the articles.

Hehe... 太长了点。希望对大家有点帮助。

还有一条消息：据说在美国机考和笔试是并行的。也就是说考生有选择权。
去年的Bulletin上好象也有这方面的说明，记不太清了。
