I need some help with this one.
It is easy to calculate the frequency response for a SISO (i.e. The
maths are well understood and easy to use.), but I do not know how to
determine the frequency response for a MISO. (I suppose this is
possible. Please correct me if it is not).
Could someone point me in the right direction? Web sites, books,
papers...
When using the "bode" command in MATLAB for a state variable MISO
model,I get two graphs, one due to the first input and the other due
to the second input. What I would like to find out the total response
of the system due to the two inputs simultaneously (so to speak). The
system I have is linear. To make things easy we could assume both
inputs to have the same frequency at all times, at first; however I
would like to find out the response of the system if one input is
fixed at one particular frequency and the other input has a varying
frequency.
I hope all this makes sense!
Actually I am just looking for a mathematical formula, (or concept) to
implement this. If anyone knows of a piece of code that can do this,
please let me know.
Thanks,
Ben

Ben,
If all your systems are linear, then you should be able to find the
frequency response of the total output by summing the frequency response
to
each individual input. That is,
1) set all inputs except one equal to zero and find it's frequency
response.
Do this for each input.
2) Sum all the individual frequency responses from step one
