我见过，<<Cisco Press CCNA2.0 Study Guide2>> written by Wedell Odom(CCIE#1624)
page111-112，里边有个经典的"Ted & Ting Story"讲得就是这个问题
虽然有些老，但是概念我想是确实存在的，你不会没看过这个吧 :)

: 在UNIX系统和大部分linux系统中有routed，但是这个只是个deamon程序。运行路由协议,
: 生成路由表。如果你们是根据routed来做出来routed protocol。绝对是个误会。
: 我在业界也有几年了。见过大大小小的名词多了，重来没有见过routed protocol.
: 以我看来，上面的关于routed protocol的解释其实就不是协议，不能称为protocol。
: 只是生成forwarding table而已。

routing is held, as built by the routing protocol
