Why can't I use MSVC 4.1 to build a VxD?
     There is a bug in Microsoft Visual C/C++ version 4.1 that prevents two key
     macros (VxDjmp and VxDCall) from working correctly. The problem does not
     appear in MSVC 4.0 or 4.2. A fix is available from Vireo Software.
