    我比较同意精华区里《新世纪Evangelion  --  外星生物论 [转载]》一文中
关于EVA的背景知识，即EVA的背景是基于古犹太教的传说的，而不是基督教。
sunsun《末世福音 2 》也提到在一般的圣经中是找不到关于Lilith的介绍的。
实际上Lilith是古犹太教传说中的人物（不要忘记基督教的圣经可是从古犹太教
“借”来的）。查了一本工具书，关于Lilith的介绍是这样的：（怕看英文的朋
友请跳过这段，基本和sunsun介绍的一样）

    Lilith: Traditionally, the first wife of Adam. Taking cue from
Gen.i,27, which tells a different story of creation from that of the
earlier-written version in Gen. ii, rabbinical(犹太的）tradition 
developed the text, "male and female created he them", to indicate
that God made Adam and Lilith from the dust at the same itme. But
Lilith would not acknowledge Adam, the man, as her superior in creation;
she would not be his servant, for she was created at the same time.
Therefore she left Adam and was turned out of Paradise. God then made
Eve from Adam's rib(Gen.ii, 18-22). God dispatched three angels（就是
使徒啊） to induce Lilith to return to Adam before he created Eve, but
she refused and thus incurred the penalty of losing 100 of her offspring
each day... To medieval Jewry also, the succubus, was the cause of
nocturnal emissions, and this combined with her child-stealing activi-
ties, made her the terror of Jewish mothers. Her offspring, the lilin,
or lilim, were monsters with human bodies.

    总之呢，Lilith是一个不太受欢迎的角色，它的后代lilin（渚薰所提过的，指
的就是人类），也是有罪的，所以才有使徒来惩罚人类。

    另外关于“死海文书”也是古犹太教的东西：
    1947年，在死海西北岸的库姆兰地区(Qumran) 的山洞里发现了“死海古卷”
（又称“死海文书”）。经考证那里是古犹太教文赛尼派(Essenes)的活动中心。
公元130年代罗马犹太战争时，他们将很多图书文物藏在山洞里，就是这“死海
古卷”，包括最古的圣经手抄本及其它手稿，在山洞里保存了二千多年。

    然而那里面到底有没有关于十八个使徒的入侵的预言呢？问问考古学家吧。
