第六章                           CHAPTER 6
  1 当人在世上多起来、又生女儿的   1 And it came to pass, when men began to

  5 耶和华见人在地上罪恶很大、终   5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was

                                 of the thoughts of his heart was only evil

  6 耶和华就後悔造人在地上、心中   6 And it repented the LORD that he had made
忧伤。                           man on the earth, and it grieved him at his

  7 耶和华说、我要将所造的人、和   7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom

  8 惟有挪亚在耶和华眼前蒙恩。     8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the

  9 挪亚的後代、记在下面。挪亚是   9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was

 12 　神观看世界、见是败坏了．凡  12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold,

 13 　神就对挪亚说、凡有血气的人  13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all
、他的尽头已经来到我面前、因为地 flesh is come before me; for the earth is
上满了他们的强暴、我要把他们和地 filled with violence through them; and, behold,
一并毁灭。                       I will destroy them with the earth.
 14 你要用歌斐木造一只方舟、分一  14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms
间一间的造、里外抹上松香。       shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it

 15 方舟的造法乃是这样、要长三百  15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt
肘、宽五十肘、高三十肘。         make it of: The length of the ark shall be
                                 three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty
                                 cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
 16 方舟上边要留透光处、高一肘．  16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in
方舟的门要开在旁边．方舟要分上、 a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the
中、下三层。                     door of the ark shalt thou set in the side
                                 thereof; with lower, second, and third stories
                                 shalt thou make it.
 17 看哪、我要使洪水□滥在地上、  17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of
毁灭天下、凡地上有血肉、有气息的 waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh,
活物、无一不死。                 wherein is the breath of life, from under
                                 heaven; and every thing that is in the earth
                                 shall die.
 18 我却要与你立约、你同你的妻、  18 But with thee will I establish my covenant;
与儿子、儿妇、都要进入方舟。     and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy
                                 sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with
                                 thee.
 19 凡有血肉的活物、每样两个、一  19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two
公一母、你要带进方舟、好在你那里 of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to
保全生命。                       keep them alive with thee; they shall be male
                                 and female.
 20 飞鸟各从其类、牲畜各从其类、  20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle
地上的昆□各从其类、每样两个、要 after their kind, of every creeping thing of
到你那里、好保全生命。           the earth after his kind, two of every sort
                                 shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
 21 你要拿各样食物积蓄起来、好作  21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is
你和他们的食物。                 eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it
                                 shall be for food for thee, and for them.
 22 挪亚就这样行．凡　神所吩咐的  22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God
、他都照样行了。                 commanded him, so did he.
