第八章                           CHAPTER 8
  1 　神记念挪亚、和挪亚方舟里的   1 And God remembered Noah, and every living
一切走兽牲畜．　神叫风吹地、水势 thing, and all the cattle that was with him in
渐落。                           the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the
                                 earth, and the waters asswaged;
  2 渊源和天上的窗户、都闭塞了、   2 The fountains also of the deep and the
天上的大雨也止住了。             windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain
                                 from heaven was restrained;
  3 水从地上渐退．过了一百五十天   3 And the waters returned from off the earth
、水就渐消。                     continually: and after the end of the hundred
                                 and fifty days the waters were abated.
  4 七月十七日、方舟停在亚拉腊山   4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on

  5 水又渐消、到十月初一日、山顶   5 And the waters decreased continually until

  6 过了四十天、挪亚开了方舟的窗   6 And it came to pass at the end of forty

  8 他又放出一只鸽子去、要看看水   8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see

  9 但遍地上都是水、鸽子找不著落   9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of
脚之地、就回到方舟挪亚那里、挪亚 her foot, and she returned unto him into the
伸手把鸽子接进方舟来。           ark, for the waters were on the face of the
                                 whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and
                                 took her, and pulled her in unto him into the
                                 ark.
 10 他又等了七天、再把鸽子从方舟  10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and
放出去．                         again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
 11 到了晚上、鸽子回到他那里、嘴  11 And the dove came in to him in the evening;
里叼著一个新拧下来的橄榄叶子、挪 and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt
亚就知道地上的水退了。           off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated
                                 from off the earth.
 12 他又等了七天、放出鸽子去、鸽  12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and

 13 到挪亚六百零一岁、正月初一日  13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth

 14 到了二月二十七日、地就都乾了  14 And in the second month, on the seven and

 15 　神对挪亚说、                15 And God spake unto Noah, saying,
 16 你和你的妻子、儿子、儿妇、都  16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife,
可以出方舟。                     and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.
 17 在你那里凡有血肉的活物、就是  17 Bring forth with thee every living thing
飞鸟、牲畜、和一切爬在地上的昆□ that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl,
、都要带出来、叫他在地上多多滋生 and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that
、大大兴旺。                     creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed
                                 abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and
                                 multiply upon the earth.
 18 於是挪亚和他的妻子、儿子、儿  18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his
妇、都出来了。                   wife, and his sons' wives with him:
 19 一切走兽、昆□、飞鸟、和地上  19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and
所有的动物、各从其类、也都出了方 every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the
舟。                             earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the
                                 ark.
 20 挪亚为耶和华□了一座坛、拿各  20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD;
类洁净的牲畜、飞鸟、献在坛上为燔 and took of every clean beast, and of every
祭。                             clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the
                                 altar.
 21 耶和华闻那馨香之气、就心里说  21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and
、我不再因人的缘故咒诅地、（人从 the LORD said in his heart, I will not again
小时心里怀著恶念）也不再按著我□ curse the ground any more for man's sake; for
行的、灭各种的活物了。           the imagination of man's heart is evil from his
                                 youth; neither will I again smite any more
                                 every thing living, as I have done.
 22 地还存留的时候、稼穑、寒暑、  22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and
冬夏、昼夜、就永不停息了。       harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and
                                 winter, and day and night shall not cease.
