第十四章                         CHAPTER 14
  1 当暗拉非作示拿王、亚略作以拉   1 And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel
撒王、基大老玛作以拦王、提达作戈 king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar,
印王的时候、                     Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of
                                 nations;
  2 他们都攻打所多玛王比拉、蛾摩   2 That these made war with Bera king of
拉王比沙、押玛王示纳、洗扁王善以 Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab
别、和比拉王．比拉就是琐珥。     king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim,
                                 and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.
  3 这五王都在西订谷会合．西订谷   3 All these were joined together in the vale
就是盐海。                       of Siddim, which is the salt sea.
  4 他们已经事奉基大老玛十二年、   4 Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and
到十三年就背叛了。               in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
  5 十四年基大老玛和同盟的王、都   5 And in the fourteenth year came
来在亚特律加宁、杀败了利乏音人、 Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him,
在哈麦杀败了苏西人、在沙微基列亭 and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim,
杀败了以米人、                   and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emins in Shaveh
                                 Kiriathaim,
  6 在何利人的西珥山杀败了何利人   6 And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto
、一直杀到靠近旷野的伊勒巴兰。   Elparan, which is by the wilderness.
  7 他们回到安密巴、就是加低斯、   7 And they returned, and came to Enmishpat,
杀败了亚玛力全地的人、以及住在哈 which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of
洗逊他玛的亚摩利人。             the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that
                                 dwelt in Hazezontamar.
  8 於是所多玛王、蛾摩拉王、押玛   8 And there went out the king of Sodom, and
王、洗扁王、和比拉王、（比拉就是 the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah,

  9 就是与以拦王基大老玛、戈印王   9 With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and

交战．乃是四王与五王交战。       of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four
                                 kings with five.
 10 西订谷有许多石漆坑．所多玛王  10 And the vale of Siddim was full of
、和蛾摩拉王逃跑、有掉在坑里的、 slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah
其馀的人都往山上逃跑。           fled, and fell there; and they that remained
                                 fled to the mountain.
 11 四王就把所多玛和蛾摩拉所有的  11 And they took all the goods of Sodom and
财物、并一切的粮食、都掳掠去了。 Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went
                                 their way.
 12 又把亚伯兰的侄儿罗得、和罗得  12 And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son,
的财物掳掠去了．当时、罗得正住在 who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and
所多玛。                         departed.
 13 有一个逃出来的人、告诉希伯来  13 And there came one that had escaped, and

 14 亚伯兰听见他侄儿〔原文作弟兄  14 And when Abram heard that his brother was
〕被掳去、就率领他家里生养的精练 taken captive, he armed his trained servants,
壮丁三百一十八人、直追到但．     born in his own house, three hundred and
                                 eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.
 15 便在夜间、自己同仆人分队杀败  15 And he divided himself against them, he and
敌人、又追到大马色左边的何把．   his servants, by night, and smote them, and
                                 pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left
                                 hand of Damascus.
 16 将被掳掠的一切财物夺回来、连  16 And he brought back all the goods, and also
他侄儿罗得和他的财物、以及妇女人 brought again his brother Lot, and his goods,
民、也都夺回来。                 and the women also, and the people.
 17 亚伯兰杀败基大老玛、和与他同  17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him
盟的王回来的时候、所多玛王出来、 after his return from the slaughter of

                                 him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the

 18 又有撒冷王麦基洗德、带著饼和  18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth
酒、出来迎接．他是至高　神的祭司 bread and wine: and he was the priest of the
。                               most high God.
 19 他为亚伯兰祝福、说、愿天地的  19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be
主、至高的　神、赐福与亚伯兰．   Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven
                                 and earth:
 20 至高的　神把敌人交在你手里、  20 And blessed be the most high God, which
是应当称颂的。亚伯兰就把所得的、 hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And
拿出十分之一来、给麦基洗德。     he gave him tithes of all.
 21 所多玛王对亚伯兰说、你把人口  21 And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give
给我、财物你自己拿去罢。         me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.
 22 亚伯兰对所多玛王说、我已经向  22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have
天地的主、至高的　神耶和华起誓． lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high
                                 God, the possessor of heaven and earth,
 23 凡是你的东西、就是一根线、一  23 That I will not take from a thread even to
根鞋带、我都不拿、免得你说、我使 a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any
亚伯兰富足．                     thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I
                                 have made Abram rich:
 24 只有仆人所□的、并与我同行的  24 Save only that which the young men have
亚乃、以实各、幔利、所应得的分、 eaten, and the portion of the men which went
可以任凭他们拿去。               with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take
                                 their portion.
