第二十章                         CHAPTER 20
  1 亚伯拉罕从那里向南地迁去、寄   1 And Abraham journeyed from thence toward
居在加低斯和书珥中间的基拉耳。   the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh
                                 and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.
  2 亚伯拉罕称他的妻撒拉为妹子、   2 And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is
基拉耳王亚比米勒差人把撒拉取了去 my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent,

  3 但夜间　神来在梦中、对亚比米   3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by
勒说、你是个死人哪、因为你取了那 night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a
女人来、他原是别人的妻子。       dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken;
                                 for she is a man's wife.
  4 亚比米勒却还没有亲近撒拉．他   4 But Abimelech had not come near her: and he
说、主阿、连有义的国你也要毁灭麽 said, LORD, wilt thou slay also a righteous

  5 那人岂不是自己对我说、他是我   5 Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and
的妹子麽．就是女人也自己说、他是 she, even she herself said, He is my brother:
我的哥哥．我作这事、是心正手洁的 in the integrity of my heart and innocency of
。                               my hands have I done this.
  6 　神在梦中对他说、我知道你作   6 And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I
这事是心中正直、我也拦阻了你、免 know that thou didst this in the integrity of
得你得罪我、所以我不容你沾著他。 thy heart; for I also withheld thee from
                                 sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee
                                 not to touch her.
  7 现在你把这人的妻子归还他、因   7 Now therefore restore the man his wife; for
为他是先知、他要为你祷告、使你存 he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee,
活．你若不归还他、你当知道、你和 and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her
你所有的人、都必要死。           not, know thou that thou shalt surely die,

  8 亚比米勒清早起来、召了众臣仆   8 Therefore Abimelech rose early in the
