第二十三章                       CHAPTER 23
  1 撒拉享寿一百二十七岁、这是撒   1 And Sarah was an hundred and seven and

  5 赫人回答亚伯拉罕说、           5 And the children of Heth answered Abraham,
                                 saying unto him,
  6 我主请听、你在我们中间是一位   6 Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty prince
尊大的王子、只管在我们最好的坟地 among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury
里埋葬你的死人、我们没有一人不容 thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee
你在他的坟地里埋葬你的死人。     his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy

  7 亚伯拉罕就起来、向那地的赫人   7 And Abraham stood up, and bowed himself to

 15 我主请听、值四百舍客勒银子的  15 My lord, hearken unto me: the land is worth
一块田、在你我中间还算甚麽呢、只 four hundred shekels of silver; what is that
管埋葬你的死人罢。               betwixt me and thee? bury therefore thy dead.
 16 亚伯拉罕听从了以弗仑、照著他  16 And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and
