第二十八章                       CHAPTER 28
  1 以撒叫了雅各来、给他祝福．并   1 And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him,
嘱咐他说、你不要娶迦南的女子为妻 and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt
。                               not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.
  2 你起身往巴旦亚兰去、到你外祖   2 Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of
彼土利家里、在你母舅拉班的女儿中 Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a
、娶一女为妻。                   wife from thence of the daughers of Laban thy
                                 mother's brother.
  3 愿全能的　神赐福给你、使你生   3 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee
养众多、成为多族、               fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest
                                 be a multitude of people;
  4 将应许亚伯拉罕的福赐给你、和   4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to
你的後裔、使你承受你所寄居的地为 thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou
业、就是　神赐给亚伯拉罕的地。   mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a
                                 stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.
  5 以撒打发雅各走了、他就往巴旦   5 And Isaac sent away Jacob: and he went to
亚兰去、到亚兰人彼土利的儿子拉班 Padanaram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the

  7 又见雅各听从父母的话、往巴旦   7 And that Jacob obeyed his father and his

  8 以扫就晓得他父亲以撒看不中迦   8 And Esau seeing that the daughters of

 11 到了一个地方、因为太阳落了、  11 And he lighted upon a certain place, and
就在那里住宿．便拾起那地方的一块 tarried there all night, because the sun was

                                 and put them for his pillows, and lay down in

 12 梦见一个梯子立在地上、梯子的  12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up

 13 耶和华站在梯子以上、〔或作站  13 And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and

将你现在所躺卧之地赐给你、和你的 liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

 14 你的後裔必像地上的尘沙那样多  14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the
、必向东西南北开展．地上万族必因 earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the
你和你的後裔得福．               west, and to the east, and to the north, and to
                                 the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall
                                 all the families of the earth be blessed.
 15 我也与你同在、你无论往那里去  15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep
、我必保佑你、领你归回这地、总不 thee in all places whither thou goest, and will
离弃你、直到我成全了向你所应许的 bring thee again into this land; for I will not
。                               leave thee, until I have done that which I have
                                 spoken to thee of.
 16 雅各睡醒了、说、耶和华真在这  16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he
里、我竟不知道。                 said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I
                                 knew it not.
 17 就惧怕说、这地方何等可畏、这  17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful
不是别的、乃是　神的殿、也是天的 is this place! this is none other but the house

 18 雅各清早起来、把所枕的石头立  18 And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and

                                 and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon

 19 他就给那地方起名、叫伯特利．  19 And he called the name of that place
〔就是　神殿的意思〕但那地方起先 Bethel: but the name of that city was called
名叫路斯。                       Luz at the first.
 20 雅各许愿、说、　神若与我同在  20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will
、在我所行的路上保佑我、又给我食 be with me, and will keep me in this way that I
物□、衣服穿、                   go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment
                                 to put on,
 21 使我平平安安的回到我父亲的家  21 So that I come again to my father's house
、我就必以耶和华为我的　神、     in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:
 22 我所立为柱子的石头、也必作　  22 And this stone, which I have set for a
神的殿．凡你所赐给我的、我必将十 pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that
分之一献给你。                   thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth
                                 unto thee.
