第三十章                         CHAPTER 30
  1 拉结见自己不给雅各生子、就嫉   1 And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no
妒他姐姐、对雅各说、你给我孩子、 children, Rachel envied her sister; and said
不然我就死了。                   unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.
  2 雅各向拉结生气、说、叫你不生   2 And Jacob's anger was kindled against
育的是　神、我岂能代替他作主呢。 Rachel: and he said, Am I in God's stead, who
                                 hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?
  3 拉结说、有我的使女辟拉在这里   3 And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in
、你可以与他同房、使他生子在我膝 unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees,
下、我便因他也得孩子。〔得孩子原 that I may also have children by her.

  9 利亚见自己停了生育、就把使女   9 When Leah saw that she had left bearing,

 15 利亚说、你夺了我的丈夫还算小  15 And she said unto her, Is it a small matter
事麽、你又要夺我儿子的风茄麽。拉 that thou hast taken my husband? and wouldest
结说、为你儿子的风茄、今夜他可以 thou take away my son's mandrakes also? And
与你同寝。                       Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee
                                 to night for thy son's mandrakes.
 16 到了晚上、雅各从田里回来、利  16 And Jacob came out of the field in the

 19 利亚又怀孕、给雅各生了第六个  19 And Leah conceived again, and bare Jacob

 20 利亚说、　神赐我厚赏、我丈夫  20 And Leah said, God hath endued me with a
必与我同住、因我给他生了六个儿子 good dowry; now will my husband dwell with me,
．於是给他起名西布伦。〔就是同住 because I have born him six sons: and she

 21 後来又生了一个女儿、给他起名  21 And afterwards she bare a daughter, and
叫底拿。                         called her name Dinah.
 22 　神顾念拉结、应允了他、使他  22 And God remembered Rachel, and God
能生育。                         hearkened to her, and opened her womb.
 23 拉结怀孕生子、说、　神除去了  23 And she conceived, and bare a son; and

 24 就给他起名叫约瑟、〔就是增添  24 And she called his name Joseph; and said,

 25 拉结生约瑟之後、雅各对拉班说  25 And it came to pass, when Rachel had born
、请打发我走、叫我回到我本乡本土 Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me

 26 请你把我服事你所得的妻子、和  26 Give me my wives and my children, for whom

 27 拉班对他说、我若在你眼前蒙恩  27 And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I

 28 又说、请你定你的工价、我就给  28 And he said, Appoint me thy wages, and I

 31 拉班说、我当给你甚麽呢。雅各  31 And he said, What shall I give thee? And
说、甚麽你也不必给我、只有一件事 Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any thing:
、你若应承、我便仍旧牧放你的羊群 if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again
。                               feed and keep thy flock.
 32 今天我要走遍你的羊群、把绵羊  32 I will pass through all thy flock to day,
中凡有点的、有斑的、和黑色的、并 removing from thence all the speckled and
山羊中凡有斑的、有点的、都挑出来 spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among
、将来这一等的、就算我的工价。   the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among
                                 the goats: and of such shall be my hire.
 33 以後你来查看我的工价、凡在我  33 So shall my righteousness answer for me in

 38 将剥了皮的枝子、对著羊群插在  38 And he set the rods which he had pilled
饮羊的水沟里、和水槽里、羊来喝的 before the flocks in the gutters in the

 40 雅各把羊羔分出来、使拉班的羊  40 And Jacob did separate the lambs, and set
