第三十二章                       CHAPTER 32
  1 雅各仍旧行路、　神的使者遇见   1 And Jacob went on his way, and the angels

  5 我有牛、驴、羊群、仆婢、现在   5 And I have oxen, and asses, flocks, and
打发人来报告我主、为要在你眼前蒙 menservants, and womenservants: and I have sent

  6 所打发的人回到雅各那里说、我   6 And the messengers returned to Jacob,

 11 求你救我脱离我哥哥以扫的手、  11 Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of

 13 当夜雅各在那里住宿、就从他所  13 And he lodged there that same night; and

 14 母山羊二百只、公山羊二十只、  14 Two hundred she goats, and twenty he goats,
母绵羊二百只、公绵羊二十只、     two hundred ewes, and twenty rams,
 15 奶崽子的骆驼三十只、各带著崽  15 Thirty milch camels with their colts, forty
子、母牛四十只、公牛十只、母驴二 kine, and ten bulls, twenty she asses, and ten

 16 每样各分一群、交在仆人手下、  16 And he delivered them into the hand of his

 17 又吩咐尽先走的说、我哥哥以扫  17 And he commanded the foremost, saying, When
遇见你的时候、问你说、你是那家的 Esau my brother meeteth thee, and asketh thee,
人、要往那里去、你前头这些是谁的 saying, Whose art thou? and whither goest thou?
．                               and whose are these before thee?
 18 你就说、是你仆人雅各的、是送  18 Then thou shalt say, They be thy servant
给我主以扫的礼物、他自己也在我们 Jacob's; it is a present sent unto my lord
後边。                           Esau: and, behold, also he is behind us.
 19 又吩咐第二、第三、和一切赶群  19 And so commanded he the second, and the
畜的人说、你们遇见以扫的时候、也 third, and all that followed the droves,
要这样对他说．                   saying, On this manner shall ye speak unto
                                 Esau, when ye find him.
 20 并且你们要说、你仆人雅各在我  20 And say ye moreover, Behold, thy servant

 29 雅各问他说、请将你的名告诉我  29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I
