第三十六章                       CHAPTER 36
  1 以扫就是以东、他的後代、记在   1 Now these are the generations of Esau, who

  2 以扫娶迦南的女子为妻、就是赫   2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of
人以伦的女儿亚大、和希未人祭便的 Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite,

  3 又娶了以实玛利的女儿、尼拜约   3 And Bashemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of

  4 亚大给以扫生了以利法、巴实抹   4 And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and
生了流珥。                       Bashemath bare Reuel;
  5 阿何利巴玛生了耶乌施、雅兰、   5 And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and
可拉．这都是以扫的儿子、是在迦南 Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were

  6 以扫带著他的妻子、儿女、与家   6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and

  7 因为二人的财物群畜甚多、寄居   7 For their riches were more than that they

 11 以利法的儿子是提幔、阿抹、洗  11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar,

 12 亭纳是以扫儿子以利法的妾．他  12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's

 14 以扫的妻子阿何利巴玛、是祭便  14 And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the

耶乌施、雅兰、可拉。             wife: and she bare to Esau Jeush, and Jaalam,

 15 以扫子孙中作族长的、记在下面  15 These were dukes of the sons of Esau: the
．以扫的长子、以利法的子孙中、有 sons of Eliphaz the firstborn son of Esau; duke

 16 可拉族长、迦坦族长、亚玛力族  16 Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek:

 17 以扫的儿子流珥的子孙中、有拿  17 And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son;
哈族长、谢拉族长、沙玛族长、米撒 duke Nahath, duke Zerah, duke Shammah, duke
族长．这是在以东地从流珥所出的族 Mizzah: these are the dukes that came of Reuel
长、都是以扫妻子巴实抹的子孙。   in the land of Edom; these are the sons of
                                 Bashemath Esau's wife.
 18 以扫的妻子、阿何利巴玛的子孙  18 And these are the sons of Aholibamah Esau's
中、有耶乌施族长、雅兰族长、可拉 wife; duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah:
族长．这是从以扫妻子、亚拿的女儿 these were the dukes that came of Aholibamah
、阿何利巴玛子孙中、所出的族长。 the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.
 19 以上的族长、都是以扫的子孙、  19 These are the sons of Esau, who is Edom,
以扫就是以东。                   and these are their dukes.
 20 那地原有的居民何利人、西珥的  20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite, who
子孙、记在下面．就是罗坍、朔巴、 inhabited the land; Lotan, and Shobal, and
祭便、亚拿、                     Zibeon, and Anah,
 21 底顺、以察、底珊、这是从以东  21 And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are

 22 罗坍的儿子是何利、希幔．罗坍  22 And the children of Lotan were Hori and

 23 朔巴的儿子是亚勒文、玛拿辖、  23 And the children of Shobal were these;
以巴录、示玻、阿南。             Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and
                                 Onam.
 24 祭便的儿子是亚雅、亚拿、当时  24 And these are the children of Zibeon; both
在旷野、放他父亲祭便的驴、遇著温 Ajah, and Anah: this was that Anah that found
泉的、就是这亚拿。               the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the
                                 asses of Zibeon his father.
 25 亚拿的儿子是底顺、亚拿的女儿  25 And the children of Anah were these;
是阿何利巴玛。                   Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.
 26 底顺的儿子是欣但、伊是班、益  26 And these are the children of Dishon;
兰、基兰。                       Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
 27 以察的儿子是辟罕、撒番、亚干  27 The children of Ezer are these; Bilhan, and
。                               Zaavan, and Akan.
 28 底珊的儿子是乌斯、亚兰。      28 The children of Dishan are these; Uz, and
                                 Aran.
 29 从何利人所出的族长、记在下面  29 These are the dukes that came of the
．就是罗坍族长、朔巴族长、祭便族 Horites; duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon,
长、亚拿族长、                   duke Anah,
 30 底顺族长、以察族长、底珊族长  30 Duke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan: these
．这是从何利人所出的族长、都在西 are the dukes that came of Hori, among their
珥地、按著宗族作族长。           dukes in the land of Seir.
 31 以色列人未有君王治理以先、在  31 And these are the kings that reigned in the
以东地作王的、记在下面．         land of Edom, before there reigned any king
                                 over the children of Israel.
 32 比珥的儿子比拉在以东作王、他  32 And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom:
的京城名叫亭哈巴。               and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
 33 比拉死了、波斯拉人、谢拉的儿  33 And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah
子约巴接续他作王。               of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
 34 约巴死了、提幔地的人户珊接续  34 And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of
他作王。                         Temani reigned in his stead.
 35 户珊死了、比达的儿子哈达接续  35 And Husham died, and Hadad the son of
他作王．这哈达就是在摩押地杀败米 Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab,
甸人的、他的京城名叫亚未得。     reigned in his stead: and the name of his city
                                 was Avith.
 36 哈达死了、玛士利加人桑拉接续  36 And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah
他作王。                         reigned in his stead.
 37 桑拉死了、大河边的利河伯人扫  37 And Samlah died, and Saul of Rehoboth by
罗接续他作王。                   the river reigned in his stead.
 38 扫罗死了、亚革波的儿子巴勒哈  38 And Saul died, and Baalhanan the son of
南接续他作王。                   Achbor reigned in his stead.
 39 亚革波的儿子巴勒哈南死了、哈  39 And Baalhanan the son of Achbor died, and
达接续他作王、他的京城名叫巴乌． Hadar reigned in his stead: and the name of his
他的妻子名叫米希他别、是米萨合的 city was Pau; and his wife's name was
孙女、玛特列的女儿。             Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter

 40 从以扫所出的族长、按著他们的  40 And these are the names of the dukes that
宗族、住处、名字、记在下面．就是 came of Esau, according to their families,
亭纳族长、亚勒瓦族长、耶帖族长、 after their places, by their names; duke
                                 Timnah, duke Alvah, duke Jetheth,
 41 阿何利巴玛族长、以拉族长、比  41 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
嫩族长、                         
 42 基纳斯族长、提幔族长、米比萨  42 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
族长、                           
 43 玛基叠族长、以兰族长．这是以  43 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these be the dukes
东人在所得为业的地上、按著他们的 of Edom, according to their habitations in the
住处、所有的族长、都是以东人的始 land of their possession: he is Esau the father
