第四十八章                       CHAPTER 48
  1 这事以後、有人告诉约瑟说、你   1 And it came to pass after these things,

  4 对我说、我必使你生养众多、成   4 And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee
为多民、又要把这地赐给你的後裔、 fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of
永远为业。                       thee a multitude of people; and will give this
                                 land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting
                                 possession.
  5 我未到埃及见你之先、你在埃及   5 And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh,

  9 约瑟对他父亲说、这是　神在这   9 And Joseph said unto his father, They are
里赐给我的儿子．以色列说、请你领 my sons, whom God hath given me in this place.
他们到我跟前、我要给他们祝福。   And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me,
                                 and I will bless them.
 10 以色列年纪老迈、眼睛昏花、不  10 Now the eyes of Israel were dim for age, so

赐福与这两个童子、愿他们归在我的 bless the lads; and let my name be named on

 17 约瑟见他父亲把右手按在以法莲  17 And when Joseph saw that his father laid

 20 当日就给他们祝福、说、以色列  20 And he blessed them that day, saying, In

如以法莲玛拿西一样．於是立以法莲 as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim

 21 以色列又对约瑟说、我要死了、  21 And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die:
但　神必与你们同在、领你们回到你 but God shall be with you, and bring you again
们列祖之地。                     unto the land of your fathers.
 22 并且我从前用弓用刀、从亚摩利  22 Moreover I have given to thee one portion
人手下夺的那块地、我都赐给你、使 above thy brethren, which I took out of the
