17:1 亚伯兰年九十九岁的时候，耶和华向他显现，对他说，我是全能的神。你当在我
面前作完全人，
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, an
d said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

17:2 我就与你立约，使你的后裔极其繁多。
And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exce
edingly.

17:3 亚伯兰俯伏在地。神又对他说，
And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

17:4 我与你立约，你要作多国的父。
As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of m
any nations.

17:5 从此以后，你的名不再叫亚伯兰，要叫亚伯拉罕，因为我已立你作多国的父。
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abrah
am; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

17:6 我必使你的后裔极其繁多。国度从你而立，君王从你而出。
And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, an
d kings shall come out of thee.

17:7 我要与你并你世世代代的后裔坚立我的约，作永远的约，是要作你和你后裔的神。

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee
 in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, an
d to thy seed after thee.

17:8 我要将你现在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，赐给你和你的后裔永远为业，我也必作他
们的神。
And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou
 art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and 
I will be their God.

17:9 神又对亚伯拉罕说，你和你的后裔，必世世代代遵守我的约。
And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and 
thy seed after thee in their generations.

17:10 你们所有的男子，都要受割礼。这就是我与你，并你的后裔所立的约，是你们所
当遵守的。
This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed af
ter thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

17:11 你们都要受割礼（受割礼原文作割阳皮。14 ，23 ，24 ，25节同），这是我与你
们立约的证据。
And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token 
of the covenant betwixt me and you.

17:12 你们世世代代的男子，无论是家里生的，是在你后裔之外用银子从外人买的，生
下来第八日，都要受割礼。
And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man chil
d in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of
 any stranger, which is not of thy seed.

17:13 你家里生的和你用银子买的，都必须受割礼。这样，我的约就立在你们肉体上作
永远的约。
He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must nee
ds be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting
 covenant.

17:14 但不受割礼的男子，必从民中剪除，因他背了我的约。
And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcis
ed, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

17:15 神又对亚伯拉罕说，你的妻子撒莱，不可再叫撒莱，她的名要叫撒拉。
And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her na
me Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.

17:16 我必赐福给她，也要使你从她得一个儿子。我要赐福给她，她也要作多国之母。
必有百姓的君王从她而出。
And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her
, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

17:17 亚伯拉罕就俯伏在地喜笑，心里说，一百岁的人还能得孩子吗。撒拉已经九十岁
了，还能生养吗。
Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a
 child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that 
is ninety years old, bear?

17:18 亚伯拉罕对神说，但愿以实玛利活在你面前。
And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

17:19 神说，不然，你妻子撒拉要给你生一个儿子，你要给他起名叫以撒。我要与他坚
定所立的约，作他后裔永远的约。
And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt ca
ll his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlast
ing covenant, and with his seed after him.

17:20 至于以实玛利，我也应允你，我必赐福给他，使他昌盛极其繁多，他必生十二个
族长，我也要使他成为大国。
And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will 
make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall h
e beget, and I will make him a great nation.

17:21 到明年这时节，撒拉必给你生以撒，我要与他坚定所立的约。
But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto the
e at this set time in the next year.

17:22 神和亚伯拉罕说完了话，就离开他上升去了。
And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.

17:23 正当那日，亚伯拉罕遵着神的命，给他的儿子以实玛利和家里的一切男子，无论
是在家里生的，是用银子买的，都行了割礼。
And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and a
ll that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's ho
use; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God
 had said unto him.

17:24 亚伯拉罕受割礼的时候，年九十九岁。
And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the fl
esh of his foreskin.

17:25 他儿子以实玛利受割礼的时候，年十三岁。
And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the f
lesh of his foreskin.

17:26 正当那日，亚伯拉罕和他儿子以实玛利，一同受了割礼。
In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.

17:27 家里所有的人，无论是在家里生的，是用银子从外人买的，也都一同受了割礼。

And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought with money of th
e stranger, were circumcised with him.
