35:1 神对雅各说，起来。上伯特利去，住在那里。要在那里筑一座坛给神，就是你逃
避你哥哥以扫的时候向你显现的那位。
And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make t
here an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the 
face of Esau thy brother.

35:2 雅各就对他家中的人并一切与他同在的人说，你们要除掉你们中间的外邦神，也要
自洁，更换衣裳。
Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away 
the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:

35:3 我们要起来，上伯特利去，在那里我要筑一座坛给神，就是在我遭难的日子应允我
的祷告，在我行的路上保佑我的那位。
And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto G
od, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way wh
ich I went.

35:4 他们就把外邦人的神像和他们耳朵上的环子交给雅各。雅各都藏在示剑那里的橡树
底下。
And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and 
all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oa
k which was by Shechem.

35:5 他们便起行前往。神使那周围城邑的人都甚惊惧，就不追赶雅各的众子了。
And they journeyed: and the terror of God was upon the cities that were roun
d about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.

35:6 于是雅各和一切与他同在的人到了迦南地的路斯，就是伯特利。
So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he an
d all the people that were with him.

35:7 他在那里筑了一座坛，就给那地方起名叫伊勒伯特利（就是伯特利之神的意思），
因为他逃避他哥哥的时候，神在那里向他显现。
And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there Go
d appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

35:8 利百加的奶母底波拉死了，就葬在伯特利下边橡树底下。那棵树名叫亚伦巴古。
But Deborah Rebekah's nurse died, and she was buried beneath Bethel under an
 oak: and the name of it was called Allonbachuth.

35:9 雅各从巴旦亚兰回来，神又向他显现，赐福与他，
And God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padanaram, and blesse
d him.

35:10 且对他说，你的名原是雅各，从今以后不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列。这样，他就
改名叫以色列。
And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any m
ore Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.

35:11 神又对他说，我是全能的神。你要生养众多，将来有一族和多国的民从你而生，
又有君王从你而出。
And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation
 and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy 
loins;

35:12 我所赐给亚伯拉罕和以撒的地，我要赐给你与你的后裔。
And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to 
thy seed after thee will I give the land.

35:13 神就从那与雅各说话的地方升上去了。
And God went up from him in the place where he talked with him.

35:14 雅各便在那里立了一根石柱，在柱子上奠酒，浇油。
And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pill
ar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil there
on.

35:15 雅各就给那地方起名叫伯特利。
And Jacob called the name of the place where God spake with him, Bethel.

35:16 他们从伯特利起行，离以法他还有一段路程，拉结临产甚是艰难。
And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ep
hrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour.

35:17 正在艰难的时候，收生婆对她说，不要怕，你又要得一个儿子了。
And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto
 her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also.

35:18 她将近于死，灵魂要走的时候，就给她儿子起名叫便俄尼。他父亲却给他起名叫
便雅悯。
And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she c
alled his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.

35:19 拉结死了，葬在以法他的路旁。以法他就是伯利恒。
And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.

35:20 雅各在她的坟上立了一统碑，就是拉结的墓碑，到今日还在。
And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel's grave 
unto this day.

35:21 以色列起行前往，在以得台那边支搭帐棚。
And Israel journeyed, and spread his tent beyond the tower of Edar.

35:22 以色列住在那地的时候，流便去与他父亲的妾辟拉同寝，以色列也听见了。雅各
共有十二个儿子。
And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and la
y with Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of J
acob were twelve:

35:23 利亚所生的是雅各的长子流便，还有西缅，利未，犹大，以萨迦，西布伦。
The sons of Leah; Reuben, Jacob's firstborn, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah
, and Issachar, and Zebulun:

35:24 拉结所生的是约瑟，便雅悯。
The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin:

35:25 拉结的使女辟拉所生的是但，拿弗他利。
And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali:

35:26 利亚的使女悉帕所生的是迦得，亚设。这是雅各在巴旦亚兰所生的儿子。
And the sons of Zilpah, Leah's handmaid; Gad, and Asher: these are the sons 
of Jacob, which were born to him in Padanaram.

35:27 雅各来到他父亲以撒那里，到了基列亚巴的幔利，乃是亚伯拉罕和以撒寄居的地
方。基列亚巴就是希伯仑。
And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto Mamre, unto the city of Arbah, whi
ch is Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac sojourned.

35:28 以撒共活了一百八十岁。
And the days of Isaac were an hundred and fourscore years.

35:29 以撒年纪老迈，日子满足，气绝而死，归到他列祖（原文作本民）那里。他两个
儿子以扫，雅各把他埋葬了。
And Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was gathered unto his people, bei
ng old and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.
