[REX]窃以为此篇与<<诗经>>中的<<鸡鸣>>,<<女曰鸡鸣>>有异曲同工之妙.
                Romeo and Juliet
[JULIET]
        Wilt thou be gone?It is not yet near day.
        It was the nightingale,and not the lark,
        That pierced the fearful hollow of thine ear.
        Nightly she sings on yond pomegranate tree.
        Believe me,love,it was the nightingale.
[ROMEO]
        It was the lark,the herald of the morn;
        No nightingale.Look,love,what envious streaks
        Do lace the severing clouds in yonder East.
        Night's candles are burnt out,and jocund day
        Stands tiptoe on the misty mountain tops.
        I must be gone and live,or stay and die.

        刚刺进您惶恐的耳洞的,
        是夜莺,不是云雀.
        她每夜都在那石榴树上唱歌.

        不是夜莺.吾爱,且看嫉妒的斑纹
        在东方为碎裂的云朵镶花边.
        星星已经熄灭;欢欣的白天
        已踮着脚站在薄雾的山头.
        我要走了,要活下去;不走,就要死了.
