The 13th China Software Fair will be held from April 11 to 13 in Jinan, capi
tal of east China's Shandong Province.
During the fair, a number of seminars on the development of software will be
 held for governmental, IT, financial and risk investment organizations.
The fair is expected to promote exchange among domestic software developers,
 facilitate links and cooperation among government institutions, enterprises
 and software users, the organizers said.
Business talks between the mainland and Taiwan organizations in the software
 sector will also be held.
The fair is one of the largest of its kind in China. More than 100,000 perso
nnel in the software sector participate in the fair every year. The contract
ed trade volume in 2001 reached two billion yuan (241 million U.S. dollars).
