A 12-member advance group of Turkish troops arrived in Afghanistan on Friday
 to prepare for the Turkish contingent in the international peacekeeping for
ce, reported the Anatolia News Agency.
The advance troops, led by General Emin Alp, are expected to carry out coord
ination activities for the settlement of a Turkish unit in the multi-nationa
l force in Afghanistan.
