The sleuths of Pakistan Customs Drug Enforcement Cell in the Karachi Airport
 Saturday arrested a drug trafficker and recovered 1,400 grams of heroin fro
m his baggage, according to the local press.
The detainee was intercepted when he came to the International Departure Hal
l of the Jinnah Terminal Complex to board an Emiratesflight EK-603 for Enteb
be of Uganda via Dubai.
On thorough search of the his baggage, the Customs sleuths recovered 1,400 g
rams of the high quality contraband which was concealed in the suitcase carr
ied by him.
The accused was arrested and referred to investigation and prosecution branc
h of the Customs House for a thorough probe.
