The State Development Planning Commission (SDPC) has opened a hotline for co
mplaints about pricing. One result, says the SDPC, is that the country's tel
ecommunications sector has witnessed a sharp drop in customer complaints abo
ut fees since last August.
The SDPC says China wants to level the field for market competition followin
g WTO entry in its efforts to eliminate unfair pricing.
