At least two people were injured in an explosion in Nongyuan dining hall at 
Peking University at about 1:20 pm Tuesday.
A witness said windows on the second floor of the dining hall were totally s
hattered because of the explosion.
Five people were injured, two of them severely, as an explosion rocked a din
ing hall at Beijing's prestigious Tsinghua University at 11:50am Tuesday.
The blast occurred on the first floor of "Heyuan" dining hall, at the center
 of Tsinghua campus. Over 30 people were having lunch there at the time. Uni
versity officials were at the scene shortly after the explosion.
The causes of the explosions are still under investigation.
