The networks can provide video phone services for corporate and residential 
customers in 330 cities of China.
Meanwhile, China Unicom also says it will start the world's first trial of G
SM1x technology in the eastern province of Jiangsu in the second quarter of 
this year.
The technology will eventually allow GSM users to access the high-speed data
 services of China Unicom's CDMA2000 1X network.
