Yanni has put together a world-class ‘super band’ to accompany him on his 
2003/2004 World Tour. He spent a great deal of time and effort finding some 
of the most talented musicians of our time – all are highly trained 
professionals from many corners of the globe. Despite different languages and 
backgrounds, these artists sound like they were born to play Yanni’s music. 

CHARLIE ADAMS, DRUMS

Charlie and Yanni have a long history together playing in rock and roll bands 
in and after college in Minnesota. Charlie is well known for his popular drum 
solo in the Live At The Acropolis video. Since his last tour with Yanni in 
1995, Charlie has kept himself very busy playing with the USAF Band, as a 
guest performer in various symphonies and percussion ensembles, and giving 
motivational talks in schools and for music groups. Charlie is also in great 
demand to give drum clinics and private lessons. He’s looking forward to 
touring with Yanni again, and says he’s missed the discipline of preparing 
for a tour such as this one.

MICHELLE AMATO, VOCALIST

Michelle is one of the two featured vocalists on Yanni’s latest album, 
Ethnicity, and this is her first time touring with Yanni. Michelle is a 
dynamic singer/educator who’s highly respected in both fields. A native of 
Florida, she performs regularly all throughout the state. She has been a 
featured soloist with the Memphis Symphony, the South Florida Pops, and the 
All-American College Orchestra at Epcot Center. Michelle also stays extremely 
active in the recording studio singing for various cruise lines, Warner 
Brothers and Shawnee Press Publishers, Walt Disney World, and numerous jingle 
production companies. Her versatility led to performances and recordings with 
Liza Minelli, Jon Secada, Al Green, Sandi Patty, Jon Hendricks, Donna Summer, 
Michael McDonald, Celia Cruz and Rita Marley. Michelle will be releasing her 
first CD, I’m All Smiles, following the tour.

Kristen Autry, Violin 

A Southern California native, Kristin's musical career has taken her to 
Taiwan, Europe, Egypt and Central America. Kristen's versatile talents began 
at the age of five with her bluegrass roots, and allowed her to move easily 
into classical, 20th Century, electronic, and rock music. When not touring, 
Kristen is busy teaching, recording, or contracting. Committed to a high 
level of public school music education, she and her flute quartet, Bella 
Musica, maintain a busy musical outreach program in addition to their recital 
season. She also enjoys working with and scouting young musicians and is the 
Special Events Music Coordinator for the Young Musicians Foundation in Los 
Angeles, CA. Kristen holds music degrees from Pepperdine University in 
Malibu, CA and California Stage University, Long Beach.

Robert Berg, Violin

Born in Prague, Czech Republic, Robert attended Rimsky Korsakov's special 
music school in St. Petersberg to study violin and viola. After completing 
his studies in 1978, he was accepted to the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, 
earning a Master's Degree in Violin and Viola. He was a member of the Saint 
Petersburg String quartet for two years before moving to the United States in 
1988.

Robert was a member of the San Diego Symphony and the San Diego Opera for ten 
years, and now does a lot of studio work in the Los Angeles area. He also 
plays in the Los Angeles Opera. Robert has recorded and performed with Mariah 
Carey, Phil Collins, Kenny G, Elton John, Diana Reeves, Billy Child, Harry 
Connick Jr. among many others. Robert is enjoying being a part of the Yanni 
2003 World Tour.

KAREN BRIGGS, VIOLIN/VIOLA 

Karen and Yanni go back 13 years, and most of Yanni’s fans know her as “the 
woman in the red dress” from his famous “Live At The Acropolis” video. She’
s also featured in Yanni's Live At Royal Albert Hall and Tribute videos. Karen
’s solos are recognized in a wide variety of music arenas, and when she gets 
going in one of her improvisations it can only be described as “spontaneous 
combustion.” Her live performances include such venues as Carnegie Hall and 
the Kennedy Center. She’s been asked to record and perform with Diana Ross, 
Stevie Wonder, Wu Tang Clan, Soul II Soul, En Vogue, Chaka Khan, and Kenny 
Loggins. Karen also had a cameo appearance in the 1999 motion picture Music 
Of The Heart. Karen enjoys working with Yanni because he encourages her to 
express herself in her own unique style.

April Cap, Oboe

April is originally from Illinois, but moved to Los Angeles to earn her 
Master's of Music degree at USC. She's currently working on her Doctoral of 
Musical Arts in Oboe Performance. In between her studies, April is an 
instructor for students at the Seoul Academy of Music, Ein Kleine Nachtmusic 
in Northridge, and private students in the Los Angeles area. She's received 
numerous awards in both academics and music, and has been nationally 
recognized for her outstanding performance ability. April's professional 
experience includes performances with The Santa Monica Symphony, Korean 
Philharmonic, Classics for Kids Philharmonic, San Diego, and numerous college 
and university orchestral and musical groups. This will be April's first 
tour, and she's looking forward to the new experience.

VICTOR ESPINOLA, PARAGUAYAN HARP

A descendent from Spanish and Guarani Indians, Victor was born into a family 
of musical talents from Paraguay. He discovered his love for music by the age 
of seven after his father gave him a guitar. At the age of 10, Victor began 
to learn the skill of playing the world famous Paraguayan harp. He honed his 
skills on the harp as well as on vocals, and eventually was asked to perform 
in many Latin American countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and 
Ecuador. By the age of seventeen he had the opportunity to tour for two years 
in Europe, playing in Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Germany. This won him 
recognition as one of the best harpists in the world. Victor now composes, 
produces and performs his original music with his own group, “Victor 
Espinola and His Show Band.” With his unique blend of Flamenco, Gypsy, 
Brazilian, Middle Eastern, Afro, American Pop and Dance music, his band is in 
demand all over South Florida.

PEDRO EUSTACHE, FLUTE AND WOODWINDS

Pedro was born in Venezuela, and has an extensive education in music. He 
plays an astounding 600 instruments and has studied classical music in Paris, 
jazz in America, as well as Indian classical and Armenian music. Pedro has 
played, toured, recorded and/or worked with such artists as Alex Acuna, 
Shakira, Pandit Ravi Shankar, Don Henley, Brenda Russel, and many, many 
others. Besides with Yanni, he’s performed as a soloist with the California 
Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, and the Prague Symphony 
Orchestra, among many others. He’s done an impressive number of studio 
sessions as a flute/woodwinds multi-instrumentalist for movies, TV, and 
commercial jingles, and has numerous professional endorsements. He’s been 
with Yanni since 1995, and was a featured soloist in both the Yanni, Live At 
Royal Albert Hall and Tribute videos.

RIC FIERABRACCI, BASS GUITAR

Ric is a long-time contributor to Yanni’s performances and recordings, 
having first appeared with him in 1993. He was a featured soloist in Yanni’s 
Live At The Acropolis, along with several of Yanni’s current musicians. In 
between touring with Yanni, he’s toured with other artists, including 
Jennifer Paige and Andy Summers. He’s worked for an impressive number of 
musicians including Men At Work, Otmaro Ruiz, Frank Gambale, Planet X, Scott 
Henderson, Tony MacAlpine, and Steve Smith. He also appeared in Shakira’s 
music video, "Inevitable", and has recorded with Russell Crowe. His TV and 
film work is equally impressive, proving that his skill as a bassist is 
constantly in demand.
