If you can keep your head your head when all about you are losing theirs and b
laming it on you;
If you can trust youself when all men doubt you , but make allowance for
their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,or , being lied about ,don’t
deal in lies;or, being hated , don’t give way to hating;and yet don’t look
too good ,nor talk too wise;
If you can dream and not make dreams your master ;
If you can think and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disastor,and treat those two imposters j
ust the same ;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken ,twisted by knaves to ma
ke a trap for fools;or watch the things you gave your life to broken,and stoop
and build’em up with wornout tools;

假如你能--在别人不知所措却对你横加指责的时候，保持清醒的头脑；
假如你能--在所有人都怀疑你的时候，仍然相信自己并能体谅别人对你的怀疑；
假如你能等待且又充满耐心，或者，从不用谎言去应付谎言，也不用仇恨去回击仇恨
，既不故作正经也不夸夸其谈；
