Title: The media (books ,films,music,television,for example) tend to create ra
ther than reflect the value of a society
 The speaker claims that the media including books ,films ,music ,television ,
etc. are creating rather than reflect the values of a society. This topic is s
o complex and controversial that a long time discussion over whether it is rig
ht exists between different people due to their distinct backgrounds .The comp
rehensive judgment should rely on a case-by-case analysis on the issue's essen
ce. In my points of view, however ,I agree with the speak under specific envir
onment. In the following analysis, I would like to reason and present evidence
 to support my standpoints.   
   In the first place, the values of a society are mainly  presented by the me
dia .No matter where you are ,in city or country ,you will read books ,watch m
ovies and listen to the music. Little by little ,we accept the ideas showed in
 them and enjoy them .A good example supports me well :advertisement ,which re
flects the trend of fashion. We can see advertisement nearly everywhere ,on te
levison ,in book ,even at home .That is the reason why information and fashion
 can be transfered from one side of the earth to the other just in a few days.

   In the second place ,media indeed are creating the culture ,the art environ
ment ,the predominance of a phenomena rather than reflect the values of a soci
ety .Media's function has changed greatly in the information era .It is not ju
st the news that report our daily life ,more generally, it disseminates ideas 
from all nations .In order to attract more customers ,media must be innovate a
nd creative. So they tend to create their own charactors to carter to differen
t people sector of the public .For instance ,the Ameria film MATRIX ,which tel
l a fictional story about virus computer with technique of Artificial Intellig
ence happened in the next century .It creates a hot discussion about the confl
ict between computer and mankind in our future.
   Admittedly ,the newly initiated values created by the media may be in a sho
rt living time .Although they are strange ,attractable and stimulating ,most o
f people may reject them after a long time investigation and experience .In su
m ,the values of society will finally  determined by the public rather than th
e media product.
    In conclusion ,from the statements above which are interacted to be a more
 convincing integrity ,we can clearly say that the books ,music ,television ,w
hich we read ,listen ,watch frequently ,not only reflect the values of a socie
ty but also
create or change it behind our scope.
