                              元宵节

    中国的另一个重要的传统节日是元宵节,它是在一月十五日。这一天各种各样的灯笼
挂出来、放焰火、有杂技表演和舞蹈表演等。 按照习俗，灯节晚上要吃元宵，因为元宵
意味着团圆和美满。元宵是一种带馅的甜食，馅料有糖、豆馅等。 所以，灯节也叫做元
宵节。

                          Lantern Festival

　　Another Chinese important traditional festival is the Lantern Festival
on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. On that day, various types
of lanterns are exhibited, fireworks set off, and acrobatics and dances
displayed. Traditionally, Yuanxiao is eaten on the night of the Lantern
Festival, because it symbolizes family unity and happiness. Yuanxiao is
a dough stuffed with sweet stuffings such as sugar and bean paste. Therefore,
the Lantern Festival is also called the Yuanxiao Festival.
