How can I get more speaking opportunities at English Corner?
It is not uncommon to see large crowds in English Corner. You may have notic
ed that most of people are not speaking but just listening to a single speak
er.
This is the most common occasion where you can lose your opportunities to sp
eak, because it's obvious that the more time you spend on listening to other
s, the less time you will get to speak yourself. The bottom line in English 
Corner is to try to talk as much as possible.
Of course, to talk as much as possible doesn't mean you should seek to domin
ate your conversation and not allow others to speak---it's rude. There is a 
good solution to this problem actually. You can stay in a small group of two
, three or even four people plus you. In such a group, your share of time to
 speak will accordingly increase, of course, in the condition that no one in
 the group intends to dominate the conversation.
Anyway, prepare your topics beforehand, join a small group, make good use of
 your share of time in the group, then you will be able to speak a lot.
