　　英语和汉语一样，有许多有关动物的谚语，如“狐假虎威”，“爱屋及乌”，“狗
仗人势”等。这里收录了部分与动物有关的英语谚语，与诸位共享。这里作一些简要的
注解或感想。
　　1.A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.（珍惜所有）
　　2.A cat has nine lives.（九死一生）
　　3.A living dog is better than a dead lion.
　　4.All his geese are swans.（自己的总比别人的好）
　　5.All lay loads on a willing horse.（能者多劳）
　　6.At nightts all cats are grey.（有时鱼目还真难分辨）
　　7.Barking dogs seldom bite.（色厉内荏？）

　　10.Curiosty kills a cat.（好奇真害人）
