come to terms with
网友rein: come to terms with的意思是达成协议。那么在“He'd been trying to come
to terms with his early life。”
Dr.eye: 短语come to terms with除了我们熟知的“to reach mutual agreement 达成协
议”外,还有另外一个意思“to confront squarely and come to understand fully
e.g. It has taken him a long time to come to terms with the fact that he was
without work.
