                      Toothsome

曾见到这么一段话："And if you ever get the chance to try some of those Buffalo
 Wing Flavored Potato Chips, you shouldn't pass up the opportunity. I've
found that each of the available brands are all equally toothsome."意思是说，
这种特殊口味薯条的品牌当中，每一种都是那么美味可口。其中，"toothsome"是一个值
得好好研究的词。

"Toothsome"是一个很有用的词，它最早出现于16世纪，有两种意思。第一种意思是 “
pleasing to the taste; delicious; appetizing”。这层意思源于tooth这个字的一种
特殊词义 “the sense of taste; tastiness.”

后缀-some一般用于名词变做形容词，表达的意思通常是 “like; tending to;
characterized by a certain quality, condition, action, etc.” 用这个模式来套
用"toothsome"一词，也就成了刺激胃口的，可口的。

"Toothsome"的第二层意思是 “pleasing; delightful”, 这层意思和胃口没有什么关
系，而是“sexually attractive （性感）”的意思 。
