五官端正
学习英语时，记住了眼耳鼻等五官的名称，还应联系记忆有关的形容词。
与eye有关的形容词是visual, ocular, optical, sighted,
sightless, blind, ophthalmic, visible, invisible等，例如：
1. He uses audio-visual aids in English teaching.
他在英语教学中使用视听辅助手段。
2. He demanded ocular proof. 他要求看得见的证据。
3. Near-sightedness is an optical defect. 近视是一种视觉上的缺陷。
4. Sighted people find it difficult to understand the needs
and feelings of blind people.
有视力的人们难以理解盲人的需要的感情。
5. He is weak-sighted /near-sighted /short-sighted /long
-sighted /far-sighted. 他视力弱/近视/目光短浅/有远见/远视。
6. He turned his sightless/blind eyes towards me.
他把两只丧失视力的眼睛转向了我。
7. The eclipse will be visible to observers in West Europe.
在西欧，观察者们将会看到日食。
8. The star is invisible to the naked eye. 这颗星是肉眼看不见的。
9. This is an ophthalmic hospital. 这是个眼科医院。
5. The music grew softer and softer until it was inaudible.
乐声越来越轻直到听不见了。
与nose有关的形容词是nasal, olfactory等，例如：
1. He has some difficulty in uttering this nasal sound.
他发这个鼻音有些困难。
2. The nose is an olfactory organ. 鼻子是嗅觉器官。
与mouth有关的形容词是oral, verbal等，例如：
1. He'll have an oral examination tomorrow.
明天他将参加一次口试。
2. He studies oral surgery. 他学习口腔外科学。
3. He gave a verbal explanation of the problem.
他对这个问题做了口头解释。
与tooth/teeth有关的形容词是dental, 例如：
1. We must protect our teeth against dental decay.
我们必须保护好牙齿以防止龋齿。
2. He is a dental surgeon. 他是个牙外科医生。
与face有关的形容词是facial, 例如：
He had a facial massage. 他做了面部按摩。
