量入为出
人们在处理收入与支出的关系时，一般遵循量入为出的原则。
"量入为出"的英译为：live within one's income/means,
keep expenditure within the limits of income, 或spend
no more than one's income。
英语表示"支出"或"支付"的名词有：payment, outlay, expenditure
和spending, 例如：
1. I gave one hundred dollars in payment for the goods I
bought. 我花100美元支付我买的商品。
2. There has been a large government outlay on/for education
in the last few years. 最近几年来，政府为教育拨了大笔经费。
3. We must limit our expenditure to what is essential.
我们必须限制支出，只买必须要买的东西。
4. There must be cuts in government spending.
政府开支必须削减。
英语表示"花费"或"支付"的动词有：spend, charge, cost, pay,
cover, defray等，例如：
1. He spent five thousand pounds for/on the new car.
city. 这个城市的生活费用越来越高。
3. The charge for a front row seat is ten dollars.
一张前排座位的票价是10美元。
4. The lawyer's fee was very high. 这个律师收费很高。
5. What's the bus/taxi/train/ship fares to Shanghai?
去上海的公共汽车/出租汽车/火车/轮船票价是多少？
6. Night telephone rates are cheaper than day rates.
夜间的电话费比白天的便宜。
表示其它费用的名词有：rent（房租），tax（税），bill（帐单），
tip（小费），tuition fee（学费），rates（地方税）等，如：
1. He owed three weeks' rent for his house. 他欠三周的房租。
2. How much income tax do you pay? 你交多少所得税？
3. There are some bills to pay/be paid? 有些帐单是要支付的。
4. He left a tip under his plate when he paid for the meal.
他付饭钱时在盘子底下留了小费。
5. The tuition fees are quite high at the college.
这个学院学费太高。
6. The rates have gone up this year. 今年地方税涨了。
