bubba    
 
Definition: A simple man from the southern part of the United States. 
 
Example:  1) Stock car racing is the ultimate bubba sport. 
2) Bill Clinton was our first bubba President.
 
 
Etymology: By the 1860s, 'bubba' was a term of affection meaning 
'brother' or 'father'. The word is still used between friends, but can 
also be used in a negative way, in reference to relatively poor, 
uneducated men.
