Definition: A young person who loves loud rock and roll music, wears strange c
lothing, and has an anti-social attitude; or, the music that punks listen to. 

Example: 1) My little brother loves to dress like a punk. 

2) The Clash is my favorite punk band.  
Etymology: 'Punk' has been used for hundreds of years, and the word is even fo
und in Shakespeare (see Measure for Measure, 5.1.596-597). In the 1500s, the w
ord referred to prostitutes and other social outcasts.
 
Definition: A young person who commits small crimes. 
Example: 1) Some punk smashed my car window.
