Definition: To get married.

Example: 1) The happy couple tied the knot in Las Vegas.

2) Valentine's Day is the perfect time to ask your honey to tie the knot.

Etymology: Marriage forms a strong connection between man and wife, like a k
not joining two strings.

Synonyms: get hitched
