yap

Definition: To talk aimlessly; or, the mouth.

Example: 1) There he goes again, yapping away at the dinner table.
         2) Shut your yap! We're sick of your boring comments!

Etymology: 'Yap' is the sound a dog or other small animal makes. When someon
e talks too much, he can sound like a barking dog.
