Definition: Someone who earns and spends a lot of money; a person who makes ve
ry large bets while gambling. 

Example: 1) I like hanging out with the high rollers in Vegas. 

2) The $500 blackjack table in Monte Carlo is for high rollers only.  

Etymology: Many gambling games involve rolling dice, and 'high roller' refers 
to winning numbers and large sums of money.
