Race Against the Clock
To race against the clock is to be in a hurry to do something.
This describes a rush to accomplish or complete something. Anyone
who has had to hurry to get somewhere on time to school, to the
airport to catch a lane,to work--can say he or she has raced against
the clock.
看字面意思,"race against the clock"是"和时间赛跑", 这比喻赶时间,
