   In June,July,and August,special foods
which mark the festive summertime spirit appear
all over America. On city streets or beaches,
at festivals and in parks,people nibble on
these foods as they walk or play.The foods are
prepared so that they can carried and eaten without
much mess.Ice cream is put into cones,candy apples
are struck onto sticks, and sugar is spun around
a paper cone to make "cotton candy".
   Crushed ice is flavored and put into paper
cones to create "snow cones." Popcorn and peanuts 
are carried in bags or boxs. Corn is boiled,buttered,
salted, and eaten directly from the cob.Watermolon is 
simply cut into pieces and eaten by hand down to the rind.
