Yes you are absolutely right in your identification of the 
difficulties of French and German. But you know what? You should look at
 them in a positive way: one you’ve learnt these difficult points, 
the rest will be very easy... For French, most verbs belong to Group I,
 and they all follow the same pattern. For any conversation, you need at
 most 5 tenses, the rest are only used in writing, so you only need to 
be able to recognise and identify them. No need to learn them now and 
when you are able to read French easily, them you will discover that 
actually you’ve learnt these forms just from looking at them!

I had a similar problem when I started Russian, which is like German, 
only worse because the ending of every word changes, including proper 
names and numbers. It was just impossible to make a sentence at first, 
but after a while, you don’t even have to think, you just "feel" that 
it is a particular ending. I think you first need to learn the grammar,
 and yes, it will be boring at first to have to think about the 
endings before you make a sentence, but with time, it will come more and
 more naturally to you.
