It has recently been announced that a new restaurant maybe built in your neigh
borhood, Do you oppose or support this plan? Use enough examples to express yo
u idea.


Although someone believes that building a restaurant in our neighborhood will 
bring us various problems, such as those things concerning community security 
or environment pollution. However, according to my idea, I would be so pleased
 when I hear this news.
First of all, this new restaurant will definitely give me more convenience in 
my daily life. For example, when one of my old friends come to visit me and we
 finally decide to have a big dinner outside, unfortunately, since there is no
 restaurant in my neighborhood, we have to spent nearly an hour on the way to 
the restaurant. Therefore, I am really supportive about this plan, for the obv
ious reason that those “hard days” will be eventually behind me soon. Furthe
rmore, I can also enjoy the take-out service of the restaurant by simply diali
ng a phone number, and then, all I have to do is waiting in my room patiently,
 a few minutes later, an attractive and nutritious will be available for me, a
 person who have already been extremely tired after a whole day’s burdensome 
work.
Additionally, based on my personal opinion, this new restaurant can become an 
important part in our community. Here are my points, on the one hand, the appe
arance of the restaurant to a great extent helps complete the functions of our
 community. Nowadays, it is common sense that a qualified and advanced communi
ty should have many basic facilities, such as supermarket, sports ground, and 
a restaurant of course. On the other hand, we also have every reason to believ
e that the coming of a restaurant will definitely at a same time bring us many
 benefits other than providing us with delicious food. For instance, more job 
vacancies will be created for those people living nearby.
Certainly, no one should be blind to see the negative effects of building a re
staurant. As more people being attracted here, the social security situation w
ill probably be more complicated than ever. What’s more, the silence of my li
fe is also under the threat of being ruined.
To sum up, like many other things in this world, building a restaurant in my n
eighborhood has both its positive effects as well as negative effects. However
, more benefits can be expected as long as effective measures are taken to eli
minate those bad factors.
