This is a tale about an unprejudiced heart and how it changed our valley f
orever.
There was a time not so long ago when pigs were before no respect except b
y other pigs. They lived their whole lives in a cool and soundless world. In t
hose days pigs believed that the sooner they grew large and fat, the sooner th
ey'd picked into pig paradise. The place is so wonderful, but no pigs're ever
found to come back.
Fly: Babe, you wait here.
Babe: Are pigs allowed?
Fly: Sorry, only dogs and cat are inside the house.
Babe: Why?
Fly: That's just the way things are....
Ferdinand: You look like intelligent...
Babe: Who? Me?
Ferdinand: Yeah. Follow me. Oh, boy. Ha, you'll fascinate in it.
Babe: What're we doing? Where are we going?
Babe: So I go through the kitchen, across the living room.
Ferdinand: Good, good, good!
Babe: Into the bedroom, get the mechanical luster and bring it
out to you.
Ferdinand: What about the cat?
Babe: I'll be quiet to bring it out to you.
Ferdinand: Excellent!
Babe: I don't think I can't do it.
Ferdinand: Hum! Babe: Is it to keep the rule only dogs and cat are allowed int
o
the house?
Ferdinand: I like that rule. It's a good rule. But this is bigger
than a rule. This is a life and death.
Babe: It is?
Ferdinand: Hum. Follow me. There is something you should know.
Babe: Yes?
Ferdinand: Humans eat ducks.
Babe: I beg your pardon?
Ferdinand: Ah, most of us forget it but the fact is not only
humans like to eat but try their best.
Babe: No, I don't think so. Not the boss, not the boss of ours.
Ferdinand: Oh, come on. Humans don't eat cats. Why? Because
they're expendable. They catch rats. Humans don't eat
roosters, why? They make what hens can't to wake everyone
up in the morning. I tried that the hens didn't work, so I
toned the crowing alone. I discovered my gift for the
sooner. While we keep the principle, then they brought a
shiner to take my job - that mechanical luster...
Babe: Oh, d
ear you.
Ferdinand: Oh, dear you... My life's in your hand.
。
Rex: It was my mistake. I was trying to loose things up. Now today
it proved it doesn't work. From now on, we all respect the
rules to reach each our destiny. Every animal were in its
proper place, and the pig's proper place's on the old court,
not in the bar and absolutely never in the house. Is it
understand?
Babe: Yes, sir.
Rex: Now pig, regarding the company keep, being young and hard to
discriminate so I'll make it easy for you. I forbid you to
talk to or consort with that duck. Never! Do I make yourself
clear?
Babe: What's "consort"?
Horse(马): It means, young man, that you must not go anywhere
to meet that duck.
Rex: As for the future to duck, when he shows himself, let him
know this: being a duck, he must behave like a duck. Nor this
crowing nonsense. You should accept what it is and be
thankful for it that goes for all of us.
Cat: The fact is pigs don't have a purpose just like ducks don't
have a purpose.
Babe: I... I don't understand...
Cat: All right, for your own sake, I'll be blunt. Why do the
bosses keep ducks? To eat them. So why do the bosses keep a
pig? The fact is that animals don't seem to have a purpose -
really do have a purpose, the bosses have to eat. It's
probably the most notable purpose of all when you come to
think about it.
Babe: They eat pigs?
Cat: Pork, they call it, or bacon. They may call them pigs when
they are alive. Babe: But... I'm a sheep-pig?
Cat: The boss's husband is just playing a little game with you.
Believe me, sooner or later, every pig gets eaten. That's
the way the world works. Oh, I have upset you, have I?
...
