Sepultura
->来自巴西的death metal乐团--sepultura成立于1984年。阵容为：吉他手和鼓手cava
lera兄弟，贝司手paulo jr,及主音吉他手andreas kisser。乐团的作品通常以死亡和反
对巴西政府为主。1985年录制了一张EP?Bestial Devastation?。（兽性的凌辱）一年之
后推出首张唱片?Morbid Visions?。（病态幻想）。第二张唱片?Schizophrenia?(精神
分裂症）在1987年发表。之后乐团来到美国投奔到著名公司roadrunner。1989年发表的
专辑?Beneath The Remains?(遗迹的下面）。同时，越来越多的年轻开始接触并喜欢上
sepultura，他们陷入由速度，攻击性及愤怒调和成的音乐中无法自拔。但由于sepultu
ra的音乐中涉及到人权，少数民族和对巴西政府的不满，倒置他们的唱片在巴西禁售。
1991年的唱片?Arise?（发生）大受欢迎，在多个国家成为金唱片。sepultura也成为第
一只在国际乐坛知名的来之第三世界的乐团。两年后的?ChaosA.D?（公元）是一张同样
出色的唱片。乐团对故土的思念体现在1996年的完美之作?Roots?（根）中，在death m
etal的轰炸中添加了大量的巴西民间音乐。使得唱片在全球狂销，乐团也进行了全球的
巡演。97年，主唱max宣布离队。并成立了新乐团soulfly。而sepultura在1998年，选定
了新主唱derrick green。并推出了新专辑?against?（反对）。其间97年乐团发表了一
张现场专辑?blood-rooted?(血根）。
